Credit Suisse First Boston (Europe) Limited ('CSFB')
today announces the placing at 530p of 8,175,113 ordinary
shares ('shares') in Ultraframe PLC (' Ultraframe'),
Europe's leading specialist designer and manufacturer of
conservatory roofing systems.

The shares were sold as follows:-

The John and Rosemary Lancaster Discretionary Trust
The John and Rosemary Lancaster Charitable Foundation

John and Rosemary Lancaster each gave 300,000 shares to
the Charitable Foundation for it to sell;  their
resulting shareholder is 22,322,623 shares (23.9 per
cent).  The Discretionary Trust now holds 11,444,178
shares (12.3 per cent).  The Lancasters and the
Discretionary Trust have undertaken not to sell any
shares until the publication of Ultraframe's results for
the six months ending 31 March 2001.
