Taylor Nelson Sofres plc (TNS) has received notification from The Goldman Sachs
Group, Inc (GS Inc), confirming a change in their notifiable interest in voting
rights associated to the share capital of TNS.
The notification states that The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc now has an interest,
both directly and indirectly, in the voting rights associated to 15,581,520
ordinary 5p shares. This constitutes 3.74% of the current voting rights.
The notification further states that GS Inc is subject to the trading book
exemption in DTR 5.1.3 (4). GS Inc has therefore ceased to have a notifiable
interest in the voting rights of TNS.
Undertakings through which the voting rights are effectively held
The interest in 15,304,487 shares arose from an interest held by Goldman, Sachs
& Co., a wholly-owned direct subsidiary of GS Inc, acting as custodian for its
customers. This is a indirect interest.
The interest in 277,033 shares arose from a beneficial interest held by Goldman
Sachs International, a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of GS Inc. This is a
direct interest and constitutes 0.07% of the current voting rights.
