Autins Group plc

(the "Company" or the "Group")

Appointment of Chief Executive

Autins Group plc (AIM: AUTG), a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of acoustic and thermal insulation solutions for the automotive sector, is pleased to announce that following a comprehensive formal search process, Gareth Kaminski-Cook has been appointed as Chief Executive. Gareth will be joining Autins from Low & Bonar plc, the fully listed international performance materials group, where he was Group Director of Strategy, Sales and Marketing and Global Business Director, Interiors and Transportation (a global business supplying specialist materials to the Automotive and Flooring industries). Gareth will join the Board of Autins as Chief Executive effective no later than 13 January 2019.

Gareth has 25 years' experience in market-leading industrial organisations across several business sectors, having worked previously for Saint Gobain, Rexam, BPB and Danaher.  He has lived and worked in Asia, the US and Europe, and has a deep understanding of the manufacture and application of specialist acoustic and thermal materials across relevant industrial markets such as Automotive and Building Products.  Gareth is a former Officer in the Corps of Royal Engineers and a Civil Engineering graduate from Birmingham University.

The Board has also agreed that Michael Jennings will leave the company on 31 August 2018 and, to ensure the continued smooth transition to new leadership, will appoint Ian Griffiths as interim Chief Executive.  Ian, a Non-Executive member of the Board since the IPO in August 2016, has strong experience in the sector having spent nearly 30 years with GKN plc and is an experienced public company executive. Further information on Mr. Griffiths can be found on the Company's website.

Adam Attwood, Chairman of Autins Group plc, said:  "We are delighted to have identified an excellent candidate in Gareth and the Board is confident that his experience and capabilities will be invaluable in capitalising on the significant growth and development opportunities that the Group has.  Michael has done an excellent job in strengthening our senior management team; we wish him well for the future."

Commenting on his appointment, Gareth Kaminski-Cook, said: "This is an exciting time to join Autins.  The market drivers for specialist NVH solutions offer strong growth opportunities for the business, particularly the Neptune product which is seeing growing success with OEMs across Europe.  I have been very impressed by the recent investment in the business and am looking forward to leading the Group in the next phase of its growth."
