                          WEST 175 MEDIA GROUP INC:

                        SENIOR MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENTS

West 175 Media Group Inc., ('West 175' or 'the Group'), the international
multimedia company, announces seven senior management appointments in the
United States, the UK and New Zealand, where the Group has operations in
television and radio broadcasting, technology, TV production, events
management, and merchandising and publishing.

Four positions are newly created and three represent internal promotions.  The
newly created positions are:


*         President, West 175 Productions (USA), based in Seattle;

*         UK Sales and Marketing Director, West 175 Media Group Inc., based in
          London;

*         Group General Manager (Broadcasting), West Media Services, New
          Zealand; and

*         National Sales Manager, based in New Zealand


Commenting, John McEwen, Chairman and CEO of West 175, said:

'We have strengthened our senior management in three countries: in the US - in
the creation and distribution of lifestyle programming; in the UK - in the
brand development; and in New Zealand - in television general management'.

He added: 'In the US, we now see the opportunity to expand our relationships
with PBS, cable, and syndication due to the increased flow in programming
concepts coming from UK and NZ distribution companies.  In the UK, the
potential of MasterChef as a brand has never been fully exploited and in New
Zealand, our rapid acquisition of television stations now needs strong senior
management to ensure we fully exploit our potential.  All these appointments
will benefit the existing worldwide businesses of West 175'.


By seniority, the appointments are as follows:

Elizabeth Brock, President, West 175 Productions (USA)

Elizabeth is promoted from within West 175 Productions, where she has been
Senior Vice President since 1999.  She will direct all US activities for the
international multi-media and merchandising specializing in the creation and
distribution of lifestyle programming.  Major areas of responsibility include
live events, publishing and the development, production and delivery of more
than 100 episodes of PBS programming each year, including World of Wildlife,
MasterChef USA, Great Food and Cucina Amore.

Prior to joining West 175 Productions, Elizabeth worked in various senior
executive positions at KCTS Television in Seattle.  As Vice President of
National Production, she directed the creation, development and production of
programming for PBS, cable, syndication and international distribution.
Elizabeth has a wealth of experience in all related aspects of television
production and distribution, and has received two Emmy Awards for her work.


Grant Harrison, UK Sales and Marketing Director, West 175 Media Group Inc.

Grant joins West 175 Media Group having previously been Director of Targeted
Marketing at Tesco Stores Plc and Customer Marketing Director at British Sky
Broadcasting plc. He comes to West 175 Media Group directly from Dunn Humby,
the customer data and information analysis company, where he was Executive
Director of Marketing and Consultancy, responsible for brand development.

As Director of Targeted Marketing at Tesco Stores Plc, Grant's roles included
those of national marketing executive, and the Head of the Clubcard
Department.  Grant devised and launched the Tesco Clubcard, and launched that
company's entry into banking.

Grant holds a Masters degree in Marketing.  He has won several Marketing
Awards, including Direct Marketing Association Database Direct Marketer of the
Year 1996 and the Advertising Age International Marketing Superstar 1995.



David Compton, Group General Manager, Broadcasting, West Media Services Ltd
(NZ)

David joins West 175 Media Group from a career as a broadcaster in television.
He combines a strong broadcasting and managerial marketing background
obtained over almost 40 years in the New Zealand broadcast industry.  His
appointments within the broadcast industry have included Programme Sales
Manager at the Broadcasting Corporation of NZ from 1976 to 1980, General
Manager and Director of Marketing at Gibson Group Ltd from 1980 to 1988 and
ten years as Managing Director of Marmalade Vision Ltd.

He brings a comprehensive and proven range of skills and talent to West 175,
being the recipient of numerous prestigious broadcast media and other awards.



Duncan McEwan, Manager, National Sales, West 175 Media Services Ltd (NZ)

Duncan has been appointed to a newly formed position from General Manager,
Mercury TV (NZ) owned by West Media Services. An MBA from Otago University, he
has worked in general management for 14 years, six years of which were in
leading Australasian wide sales-based and marketing consultancy roles.

At West Media, his role as Manager, National Sales will focus on the
development of revenue from National sources, management of the organisation
and implementation of client campaigns and other group based projects.

After a career in the NZ military, Duncan formed Clan McEwan Consultants in
1995, a consultancy specialising in sales/marketing strategy. From 1997 to
1999 he was an internal consultant at Lion Nathan, the Australasian arm of
Kirin Brewing Group, and was promoted to Sales Strategy Manager in 1998,
focusing on research for sales strategy teams.

His first position at West Media Services in 1999 was in an operational
business development role at Mercury Television responsible for total
performance of his business unit, which included all aspects of sales
training, strategy and revenue, and costs and marketing.



Michael Kelly, General Manager, Now TV and Canterbury on Air (NZ)

Michael has joined from Johansens Ltd, the market leading travel guidebook
company, where he has worked since May 2000.  In total, he has 29 years of
managerial and sales-based experience in the Australasian and Pacific region
broadcast media and hospitality travel industries.  He will be based at
Canterbury on the South Island of New Zealand.



Tom Conroy, General Manager, Mercury TV (NZ)

Tom is promoted from his position as a Sports Presenter and Producer at
Mercury Television, where he has worked since 1996.  Mercury Television is 100
per cent owned by West 175 and is based in Invercargill.  Tom has 23 years
experience in technical, consultancy, managerial and broadcast media roles. He
has provided management consulting services to sector relevant organisations,
and for Mobil Oil New Zealand Limited, where he worked on the final stage of
Mobil's Executive Development Programme. He has made public appearances and
provided advice on related matters in the sports broadcast industry.



George Reedy, Group General Manager, Actrix Network (NZ)

George has taken over management of the Group's Internet Service since January
2001.  Since West 175's investment in May 2000, Actrix's customer base has
grown from 3,500 to about 25,000, 30% of which are business clients.  This
rapid growth has necessitated strengthening the management base of what we
consider will be an extremely profitable arm of the New Zealand operation.

George has 18 years of managerial experience in technology based strategic
development and implementation, and holds directorships in several companies,
including Smartcard Technology Joint Venture, Golden Waters Limited, and
Pacific Islands Business Development Trust.  He is a member of the Institute
of Society of Chartered Accountants of NZ, and is currently studying for an
MBA at Massey University, New Zealand.
