Disclosure of Interest in Share Capital

On 24 November 2004 the Company received notification by Axa Investment 
Managers UK Limited of 7 Newgate Street, London, EC1A 7NX that, as at, 
23 November 2004 AXA S.A., 25 Avenue Matignon, 75008 Paris and its Group 
Companies were interested in 26,181,041 ord GBP 0.01 shares. 

These shares are represented by a beneficial interest of 19,778,921 
shares (representing 8.08% of the issued share capital) and a non-beneficial 
interest of 6,402,120 shares (representing 2.61% of the issued share capital).

This notification of change is due to an increase in the beneficial interest 
holding from 7.99% to 8.08%. The shares were held as follows:
