Asian Plantations Limited (LSE: PALM), a palm oil plantation company with operations in Malaysia, received notification today that Artemis Alpha Trust plc ("Artemis") acquired 32,000 ordinary shares of no par value in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), representing approximately 0.09 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.

Following this transaction, Artemis now holds 1,004,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 3.00 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
