Forthcoming Directorate Change

Michael Page International plc ("PageGroup"), the specialist recruitment consultancy, announces that Robin Buchanan has indicated his intention to step down from his position as non-executive Chairman and leave the Board on the appointment of his successor. The Board will now undertake a process to select that person. Robin will remain as non-executive Chairman while his successor is being identified. The date of retirement will be confirmed by a separate announcement in due course.

Robin Buchanan said: "It has been a pleasure to work with the Board and the executive team. The changes we have made to our strategy, leadership, IT, people development, and financial policy are paying off handsomely. I have great confidence in the prospects for the Group."

Steve Ingham, Chief Executive Officer said:  "I have really appreciated the chance of working with Robin and on behalf of the Board would like to thank him for his leadership and his many contributions to the success of our company. Whilst we understand and respect his decision, the Board is very sorry to see him go"

Robin Buchanan joined the Board of PageGroup in August 2011 as a Non-Executive Director and was appointed Chairman in December 2011.
