Molins PLC announces that Michael Steen has been appointed a non-executive
director with immediate effect.

Michael Steen, 55, was a partner in KPMG from 1981 until his retirement in
1998, being  a member of the KPMG Board from 1996.  He is a director of Old
Mutual South Africa Trust plc and a member of the Gaming Board of Great
Britain.
