Act 1985 ('the Act'), that at the close of business on 27th November 2006, The
Goldman Sachs Group, Inc had a notifiable interest, by attribution only, in
31,130,511 10 pence ordinary shares of Galiform Plc (4.94 per cent of the issued
share capital).
