HIGHBRIDGE MULTI-STRATEGY FUND LIMITED (THE 'COMPANY')

TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

The Company announces that on 16 September 2016 it purchased 450,000 Sterling Shares of no par value ('Sterling Shares') at an average price per share of 191 pence each.

The Sterling Shares purchased will be held in treasury on acquisition.  Following the above purchase, the total number of Sterling Shares held by the Company in treasury is 2,164,000.

Following the above purchase, the total number of Sterling Shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 129,463,733.  Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 129,463,733 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
