Our guidance is that we expect to achieve mid to high single-digit percentage profit growth for current year. While we aim to grow our capacity, measured in terms of available seats, by 15% this year, the first part of the year will show a lower growth rate due to the comparison with growth in excess of 25% this time last year. 'In the month that we celebrated our 10th anniversary, we carried over 30 million passengers in a 12 month period for the first time, reflecting the demand for low-cost air travel and our ability to meet it.' Earned seats include seats that are flown whether or not the passenger turns up because easyJet is a no-refund airline, and once a flight has departed a no-show customer is generally not entitled to change flights or seek a refund. Earned seats also include seats provided for promotional purposes and to staff for business travel. 2. Represents the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of seats available for passengers. No weighting of the load factor is carried out to recognise the effect of varying flight (or 'stage') lengths. 3. Represents unaudited statutory revenue, which includes the invoiced value of airline and ancillary services, net of passenger tax This information is provided by RNS The company news service from the London Stock Exchange
