On 17 October 2005 the Company was advised that on 17th October 2005, Numis
Securities Limited, on behalf of the Company's Employee Benefit Trust ('the
Trust'), purchased 200,000 of the Company's ordinary shares of 5p each at a
price of 313p per share. The resulting non-beneficial interest in the Trust is
3,799,921 ordinary shares, representing 7.2% of the Company's issued share
capital.
