PURCHASE OF SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc announces that on 23 January 2001, the Company
purchased a total of 65,000 shares for cancellation at a price of 137.50 pence
per share. Following these purchases, there are a further 194,160,263 shares in
issue.
