Annual General Meeting

Winsford, UK: Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc (AIM: AMS), the global medical technology company, will hold its Annual General Meeting at 11.00am this morning. Dr Geoffrey Vernon, the Company's Chairman, will make the following comments on current trading:

“I am pleased to advise that the strong start to the year reported in the Preliminary Results announced on 11^th March 2008 has continued. Our current run-rate and the visibility of our order book mean that the Company is trading at the top end of market expectations for the full year 2008.

“The outlook remains positive with the silver alginate business continuing to grow and our ActivHeal® woundcare range continuing to gain wider acceptance within the NHS. The recent re-classification of topical tissue adhesives by the FDA is a highly beneficial step in obtaining accelerated US approval for our LiquiBand™ range.

“The joint venture agreement announced on 19^th May 2008 relating to the Corpura hydrophilic polyurethane foam business is another exciting development for AMS and we believe that this agreement will underpin the growth of our foam based wound dressings business. In particular, the joint venture will allow us to accelerate the development of proprietary foam based products using AMS’s higher value technologies such as silver.”
