The Company was notified on 23 December 2005 that Credit Agricole SA has an
interest in 2,135,000 ordinary shares of 25p each, representing approximately
6.28% of the issued share capital of the Company. These shares are registered in
the name of Credit Agricole Cheuvreux International Limited. By virtue of
Section 203 of the Companies Act 1985 Credit Agricole Cheuvreux Paris and Calyon
SA also have an interest in these shares.
