Appointment of a New Director
Standard Life Equity Income Trust PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Jo Dixon as an independent non-executive Director to the Board, with effect from 1 May 2011.
Ms Dixon is a Chartered Accountant whose career includes a number of years in a variety of roles in the Nat West Group, Finance Director of Newcastle United plc, Serco Group where she was Commercial Director of UK Europe and the Middle East, and on various advisory Boards in the education and charity sector.
She is currently a director of Worldwide Healthcare Trust PLC and Baring Emerging Europe PLC.
Ms Dixon currently has no beneficial interest in the shares of the Company.
