14 December 2006 Slough Estates plc Extraordinary General Meeting 14 December 2:00 PM The resolution to change the Articles of Association was passed unanimously by shareholders at the EGM held today. Proxy votes were as follows : For (including discretionary) 269,132,425 Against 28,414 Withheld 1,944, 230 Issued Share Capital 471,920,217 Consequently 99.99% of proxy votes cast supported the resolution. Following the passing of this resolution, Slough Estates plc has also today made its election to become a Real Estate Investment Trust ("REIT"), with effect from 1 January 2007.
