Ticker: WIZZ
London, 17 September 2026: Wizz Air Holdings Plc ("Wizz Air") will be holding a Capital Markets Day in London today for Institutional Investors and Sell-Side Analysts, starting at 2pm BST. József Váradi, Chief Executive Officer, will be joined by members of Wizz Air’s Management Committee.
The event will cover Wizz Air’s strategic priorities for the medium term to F30, including its plans to optimise the network and actively manage costs to deliver sustainable profitability.
Medium-term targets for F30 are;
Speakers will cover:
· Wizz Air’s strategic refocusing of the business to its core CEE and selective growth markets;
· The opportunity and plan to grow revenues per Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs) as the network matures, services a broader customer mix and leverages its leadership in key markets;
· The continued focus on costs and the path to delivering a decline in ex-fuel unit costs over the medium term;
· How a return to sustainable operating profits will underpin the deleveraging of the business whilst optimizing the financing decisions around fleet growth.
József Váradi, Chief Executive Officer said:
"Wizz Air’s strength has always been its ability to serve its customers through an uncompromising low-cost model.
Our next chapter is about turning that structural advantage into consistently stronger returns by concentrating growth in core and growth markets, restoring fleet productivity, maturing our network and executing with discipline.
By F30, we intend to operate an all-neo fleet of 335 aircraft, carry 127 million passengers and deliver sustainable, industry-leading margins.”
Current trading
No guidance for the F27 year will be provided today, however, Wizz Air announces the following updates: On the back of a stronger than expected summer revenue performance Q2 RASK is now guided flat YoY (from “down low single digits” previously) with ASK and H1 ex-fuel CASK guidance remaining unchanged. The current trading underpins the company’s strong liquidity position of above EUR 2.2bn. In reflection of geopolitical and fuel price volatilities, the company confirms it has already trimmed its originally planned H2 capacity by 5%.
Today's presentations can be found on the Wizz Air’s website (https://corporate.wizzair.com) from 12:00pm BST. A recording of the presentations will be made available after the event.
