Update regarding Airworthiness Directive #2025-0268-E

Wizz Air Holdings Plc (ticker: WIZZ.L), the fastest-growing and most environmentally efficient European ultra-low-cost airline, provides an update regarding the Airworthiness Directive (Ref # 2025-0268-E) issued on 28 November 2025, affecting Elevator Aileron Computer (ELAC) software on certain aircraft. 

Upon receipt of the directive, the Company's Engineering and Operations Control Centre (OCC) teams immediately initiated a comprehensive compliance programme to implement the required software amendments across the active fleet.

Operational Update

The Company identified 83 operational aircraft within its fleet requiring immediate software amendment. Wizz Air is pleased to report the following progress:

 

·  Completion Status: The required software amendment and subsequent testing was successfully completed on all affected operational aircraft.


·   Operational Impact: Due to the coordinated response of the engineering and operations teams, this mandatory maintenance has been managed with zero flight cancellations
