WIZZ AIR JULY TRAFFIC UP 32% YEAR-ON-YEAR,

Geneva, 4 August 2026: Wizz Air Holdings Plc ("Wizz Air") reports 31.6% year-on-year passenger growth in July 2026.
Wizz Air carried 8.36 million passengers in July, an increase of 31.6% year-on-year, with capacity rising 30.4% to 8.91 million seats. This marks a further acceleration into the summer season from the 27% year-on-year growth in passengers reported for June. The load factor for the month was 93.7%, up 0.9ppts year-over-year.
During the month:
· Spanish expansion sees new bases announced for Madrid and Valencia. The two bases will open at the start of November this year, with 2 based aircraft each. This marks a significant long-term commitment to Spain, given the country's strategic importance within the airline's network, and will see the launch of 10 new domestic and 3 international routes.
· A new base at Prishtina, Kosovo, was also announced in the month, with an opening date in November, with one A321neo to be based there. Three new routes will be added, servicing Brussels Charleroi, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden and Basel-Mulhouse, with the additional aircraft and frequencies expected to add 0.5m seats next year.
· Wizz Holidays launched. Wizz Air's new holiday platform will allow customers to bundle flights, hand-picked accommodation, and ground transfers.
