Appointment of New Manager with Managerial Responsibilities

Wizz Air plc announces the appointment of Jingyuan Sun as Chief Technical Officer, effective from 1 October 2026. She will report directly to Michael Delehant, Group Managing Director
In this role, Jingyuan Sun will bring Technical Services, Engineering, Base Maintenance & Transitions, as well as Technical Contracts and Supplier Management, under a dedicated leadership structure. She will join the Group's senior management team and, as such, The Board considers her to be a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMR") for the purposes of the UK Market Abuse Regulation.
Jingyuan Sun brings over 18 years of experience in international aviation across a range of maintenance, technical and commercial roles. She joins Wizz Air from SR Technics Switzerland, where she currently serves as Senior Vice President. Before joining SR Technics, Jingyuan worked for SIA Engineering Company in Singapore, where she held a number of commercial and project management roles. Jingyuan holds a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD, a Master of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering from the same university.
