Smith & Nephew plc (the "Company") announces that from 8 May 2026 up to and including 14 May 2026 it has purchased the following number of its own ordinary shares of US 20¢ each through Merrill Lynch International, as part of its USD $250 million share buyback programme announced on 6 May 2026 and in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 6 May 2026.

The figure of 852,623,344 should be used by shareholders as the denominator when determining whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

 

These purchases were made by Merrill Lynch International on behalf of the Company.
