Announcement regarding Chief Financial Officer

Severn Trent Plc ("Severn Trent") announces that Helen Miles has informed the Board of her decision to step down from her role as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Severn Trent to take up a new role as Chief Financial Officer of Vistry Plc.

The Board is commencing a formal search process to identify a successor. Helen will remain in her role as CFO to support an orderly transition throughout her 12-month notice period. We will provide further updates in due course.

James Jesic, Chief Executive Officer, said "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Helen for her significant contribution over her 12 years at Severn Trent and I wish her well for the future. We remain focused on continuing to deliver one of the sector's most ambitious capital investment programmes for the benefit of our customers, communities and the environment."

Helen Miles, Chief Financial Officer, said "I have loved my time at Severn Trent and the opportunity to work with brilliant colleagues across the business. I would like to thank everyone I have worked with during that time and look forward to supporting a smooth transition over the coming year."

This announcement is being made pursuant to UK Listing Rule 6.4.6R and 6.4.7R.
