Schroder Japan Growth Fund plc (the "Company") announces that Mr Jan Kingzett retired at the Annual General Meeting held on 5 November 2014 and did not seek re-election as a Director of the Company.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Kingzett for his invaluable contribution to the Company over many years.
