Schroder Japan Trust plc (the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of James Moseley as an independent non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 6 November 2026.
James has more than 25 years’ experience in the investment trust sector, principally in investment trust sales and corporate broking. He was formerly a Director of Winterflood Securities and Head of Investment Trusts and, more recently, a Senior Adviser at Singer Capital Markets.
Philip Kay, Chairman of the Company, said:
“I am delighted that James is joining the Board. His extensive investment trust experience and deep understanding of the sector, including the retail investor landscape and shareholder engagement, will be a valuable addition to the Board.”
James will be appointed as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee, Nomination Committee and Management Engagement Committee.
It is confirmed that there are no further details to be disclosed in respect of James Moseley pursuant to UK Listing Rule 6.4.8 R.
