Update on Proposed Name Change to Spode Group PLC

Portmeirion Group PLC, the global homewares brand group, announced on 3 June 2026 its intention to change the Company's name. The Company confirms that it is proceeding with the name change to Spode Group PLC, which is expected to take effect during November 2026.

In connection with the proposed change of name to Spode Group PLC, the Company’s TIDM is expected to change to ‘SPDE’. The ISIN (GB0006957293) and SEDOL (0695729) of the Company’s ordinary shares will remain unchanged. Shareholder documents of title will be unaffected by the proposed change of name and existing share certificates should be retained and remain valid. Any new share certificates issued after the name change becomes effective will bear the new name, Spode Group PLC.

The name change reflects the global reach, heritage and resonance of the Spode brand in our markets, intellectual property considerations and increasing simplicity in a digital world. It reflects our commitment to manufacturing in Stoke-on-Trent, following our ‘Made-in-Stoke reshoring initiative launched last year, and the importance of this for our customers. This recognises Spode's roots in the city which date back over 250 years. Spode Group recognises the Company is a homewares brand group also including Portmeirion, Royal Worcester, Pimpernel, Wax Lyrical and Nambé.

This name change will only impact the listed company name and there is no intention to change any brands within the brand portfolio such as Portmeirion, Spode, Royal Worcester, Pimpernel, Nambe and Wax Lyrical. Transactional customer facing websites will remain the same.
