The Board announces the following change to the Board of the Company.
Board appointment
Bill Maldonado
The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Maldonado as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 November 2026.
Bill has over 30 years' experience in investment management across the UK, Asia and global markets.
He was Chief Executive Officer of Eastspring Investments until July 2025 and previously served as its Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining Eastspring Investments, Bill held a number of senior investment roles at HSBC Global Asset Management, including Asia Pacific Chief Investment Officer and Global Chief Investment Officer, Equities, UK Chief Investment Officer and Global Head of Alternative Investments and Trading.
Bill was also a member of the Prudential plc Global Executive Committee and, until May 2026, a Board member of ICICI Prudential AMC Ltd.
Bill will become a member of the Merchants Trust Audit Committee, Nomination Committee, Management Engagement Committee and Remuneration Committee on appointment.
There are no other details requiring disclosure under UKLR 6.4.8R of the UK Listing Rules.
