Made Tech appointed to new Met Office Delivery Partnerships Framework

Made Tech selected across all three lots targeted, including strategically important Secure Services lot

London, 9 September 2026 - Made Tech Group Plc, (AIM:MTEC) a leading provider of digital, data and technology services to the UK public sector, is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of a list of suppliers to three lots under the Met Office's new Delivery Partnerships Framework 2 ("DPF2") following the completion of the standstill period and signing of the DPF2 framework agreement.

DPF2 is a four-year framework intended to support the development and delivery of future technology solutions across the full lifecycle of Met Office products & services. Made Tech was successful in all three lots for which it tendered, providing the Group with potential future contract wins as contracts are awarded over the four year term, broken down as follows:

●     Lot 1 - Data - £9 million, one of three suppliers supporting the Met Office's strategic data platforms and wider ecosystem.

●     Lot 3 - Secure Services - £12 million, one of three suppliers supporting requirements within higher-security environments, including defence-related activities.

●     Lot 4 - Applications - £47 million, one of five suppliers covering the development, support and lifecycle management of a wide range of applications supporting Met Office products and services.

At this stage no contracts have been awarded to Made Tech under DPF2 and contract wins will be announced as appropriate. As is customary with public sector frameworks of this nature, there is no guaranteed level of expenditure or revenue attributable to Made Tech, with individual programmes of work to be awarded under the framework over its four-year term.

The Group considers its selection as one of the suppliers to 'Lot 3 - Secure Services' to be of particular strategic importance. The lot covers work requiring higher levels of security clearance, including requirements relating to Defence. Made Tech's appointment therefore provides a route to compete for a broader range of higher-security government work and represents important progress in the Group's strategy to build its presence in the Defence sector, leveraging the capabilities and experience it has developed across Public Safety and Central Government.

Rory MacDonald, CEO of Made Tech, commented: "We are delighted to have been selected as a supplier to all three lots targeted under the Met Office's new Delivery Partnerships Framework 2. We believe we are well placed to capitalise on the framework as a long-standing strategic partner of the Met Office, following successful deliveries, in particular the recent National Weather App where Made Tech and the Met Office jointly won the National Technology Awards: Public Sector Project of Year Award 2026. Expanding and deepening our existing client relationships is a key growth driver, alongside new client wins, and this selection underscores the progress we are making across both fronts."
