LSEG intends to cancel all of the purchased shares.
Following the cancellation of the repurchased shares, LSEG has 480,251,595 ordinary shares of 679/86 pence each in issue (excluding treasury shares) and holds 20,188,599 of its ordinary shares of 679/86 pence each in treasury. Therefore, the total voting rights in the Company will be 480,251,595. This figure for the total number of voting rights may be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
These purchases are the last purchases to be made under the irrevocable programme between LSEG, on the one hand, and BNP Paribas, on the other hand, announced on 30 July 2026, and that the programme has been completed in accordance with its terms.
