Stuart Last, CEO of Audioboom, commented:

“The powerful dynamics of our platform business model were on full show in Q3 2026. Revenue increased by 17%, driven by our strongest-ever content slate, record distribution and ad inventory. In turn, gross profit growth almost doubled that rate, up 30%, reflecting continued improvements to our podcaster revenue shares and a greater contribution from higher margin advertising products. Gross profit then geared strongly to adjusted EBITDA which was up 89%. The final stages of our integration of Adelicious into the Company generated ongoing cost synergies, holding our operating costs at approximately US$1.1 million per month. Our adjusted EBITDA margin of 9% for the quarter highlights the strong operational gearing inherent in the business.

In September, our ad marketplace Showcase delivered exceptional performance, benefitting from the first meaningful wave of political advertising spend ahead of the US midterm elections. With our politics and news network generating approximately a quarter of a billion available ad impressions each month, we are uniquely positioned to capitalise on increasing demand and capture maximum value as the election-related spending continues to build through Q4.

Our outstanding performance in the first nine months of the year has positioned us to out-perform current market expectations, with Audioboom now expecting to deliver an increased adjusted EBITDA profit for 2026 of at least US$7.7 million.

As outlined in our half-year report, M&A remains central to our accelerated growth strategy. The recent confirmation of our debt facility provides access to an additional US$10.0 million of capital for strategic acquisitions. Together with our cash balance of US$6.7 million, we have the financial firepower and flexibility to lead the inevitable consolidation within the podcast industry. Our objective remains to execute three to four meaningful transactions over the medium term.

Last month we kicked off the 2027 “upfronts” season with our advertising event in New York City, which was attended by more than 100 representatives from leading advertising agencies and brands. The positive advertiser response to our record levels of inventory and premium roster of audio and video content provides strong momentum as we look ahead into 2027.”
