Statement from the Government of Paraguay in response to the Notice

Further to yesterday’s announcement regarding the service of Notice, the Company notes that the Government of Paraguay has issued the following public statement, translated to English for the purposes of this announcement:

STATEMENT FROM THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE TO THE PUBLIC
Regarding the notification submitted by the company Atome

“The Attorney General's Office reports that, to date, there is no lawsuit or arbitration initiated against the Paraguayan State by Atome.

The notification received communicates the existence of a dispute and raises the possibility of initiating legal action in the future, enabling a period of three months to explore an amicable solution.

Currently, the Paraguayan State is analysing the company's claims, so it is not appropriate to anticipate a position on the merits of the controversy.

Paraguay reaffirms its full commitment to legal certainty, respect for investments and compliance with its international commitments.

The Government maintains its openness to dialogue but will firmly defend the interests of the Paraguayan State and the national interest.

Asunción, September 17, 2026.”

The Company will continue to keep the market informed.
