INTERIM RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT DATE


Xaar plc (LSE:XAR), the inkjet printing technology group headquartered in
Cambridge, will be announcing its interim results for the half year ended 30
June 2006 on Wednesday 13 September 2006.

A press briefing will be held at 11.00 am on that day at Bankside Consultants, 
1 Frederick's Place, London EC2R 8AE.

A lunch briefing for analysts will be held at 12.30 pm at the offices of Panmure
Gordon, 155 Moorgate, London, EC2M 6XB.
