FINSBURY WORLDWIDE PHARMACEUTICAL TRUST PLC

BORROWING FACILITY

The Board of Finsbury Worldwide Pharmaceutical Trust PLC announces that the
Company has drawn under its committed multi-currency revolving credit facility
agreement with Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. an additional US$8,122,500, Euro
5,775,000 and JPY 256,725,000 for investment in securities in line with the
Company's existing investment remit.
