Workspace Group plc (the 'Company')

Notification of Major Interests in Shares

The Company received a notification on 22 November 2001 from CGNU plc,
informing it that its subsidiary, Morley Fund Management Limited have a
material interest of 712,500 ordinary shares, representing 4.33% of the issued
ordinary share capital of the Company.

CGNU plc also has an interest in these shares which are registered in the name
of BNY Norwich Union Nominees Ltd.
