J D Wetherspoon was yesterday advised by The Capital Group Companies, Inc on
behalf of its affiliates, including Capital Guardian Trust Company, Capital
International Limited, Capital International, Inc and Capital Research and
Management Company has a notifiable interest in 23,308,653 Ordinary shares in
the Company, which represents 11.05% of the ordinary share capital.
