Appoints New Head of Wealth Management

Wealth Management Team

WH Ireland, the financial services group specialising in Private Wealth Management and Institutional Securities, is delighted to announce the appointment of Lindsey Hamilton as Head of Wealth Management with immediate effect. Lindsey has been recruited to enhance and expand the Wealth Management division of the Group. She brings with her an experienced wealth management team.

Lindsey joins WH Ireland from Allied Irish Bank's Independent Financial Services, where she led the National High Net Worth Independent Regulated Sales force in the UK. At Allied Irish Bank, she implemented a new Wealth Management structure, amalgamating the portfolio managers and private bankers to create a full service wealth management division. As a result of the changes implemented, including internal marketing, new referral processes and back office systems, Lindsey grew revenue more than fivefold, and moved the unit into profitability within 18 months.

Lindsey has over 20 years' experience in wealth management. Prior to joining Allied Irish Bank, she spent five years with Barclays Independent Financial Planning. She has also worked for Woolwich Independent Financial Advisory Service, having started her career at Noble Lowndes & Partners.

A number of her team are also joining WH Ireland, with effect from 21 September, to drive the continuing growth of the Private Wealth Management business. The new team includes Angela Wise, Jayesh Ratna, Panvir Thind, Zoltan Molnar and Christy Morrison.  The team has in-depth experience in wealth management and an excellent track record in building strong, long-term client relationships within a service-led culture.

Together with Lindseythe team has been recruited to accelerate the growth of the Group's Private Wealth Management offering.  In line with the Group's stated strategy, the team will assist in developing a comprehensive service offering, tailored to an individual's complete financial needs, for both existing and new customers.

Commenting, Richard Ford, CEO of WH Ireland, said:

'We are delighted that Lindsey and her team are joining our business. We have previously set out our intention to grow the Private Wealth Management offering and this marks exciting progress towards that goal.  Lindsey and her team have great experience in providing full service and unified wealth management and we are confident that under Lindsey's guidance, we can further accelerate the division's growth, building an industry-leading proposition.'

Commenting on the move, Lindsey Hamilton said:

'This is a highly exciting prospect for both myself and my team. I believe that there is growing demand for bespoke financial planning which offers a complete service and in joining WH Ireland at this exciting time, we have the unique opportunity to develop a new proposition for all clients, tailored to an individual's needs.  I look forward to working across the Group in order to build the business successfully.'
