Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Vp plc, the equipment rental specialist, today announces the appointment of Mr Phil White CBE as a Non-Executive Director of the Group with immediate effect.

Phil is Non-Executive Chairman of Kier Group Plc, Lookers Plc and The UNITE Group Plc, as well as a Non-Executive Director at Stagecoach Group Plc.  There are no other disclosures required under listing rule LR9.6.13 other than the above.

A graduate of the University of Leeds, Phil qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte.  He subsequently served in a wide variety of roles in the transport sector, including as CEO of National Express Group PLC from 1997 to 2006.

Mr Peter Parkin, who has served as a Non-Executive Director since January 2000, will not be seeking re-election at the Annual General Meeting in 2013.
