                                 Trading Update


Vp plc, the equipment rental specialist, today issues the following trading
update in advance of its Preliminary Results for the year ended 31 March 2007
which are to be announced on 7 June 2007.

We are pleased to report that Vp has enjoyed a year of substantial growth,
trading in line with the Board's expectations. We have achieved continued
success in our strategy of pursuing leadership positions within specialist
rental markets, and generally the sectors within which we operate have been
supportive during the year.

The outlook remains positive and overall the markets we serve are in good health
with solid growth prospects. We expect to make further tangible progress in the
coming financial year.
