Director Shareholding - amend

The issuer advises that the following replaces the directors shareholding
announcement released on 11 June 2001 at 15.18 hrs under RNS No 0524F. The
Chairman's total shareholding should have read 82,100 shares and not 79,100.
All other details remain unchanged.

In accordance with Section 329 of the Companies Act 1985, I have to inform you
that on 7 June 2001 Lord MacLaurin of Knebworth, Non-Executive Chairman of the
Company, purchased 17,000 ordinary shares of US$0.10 each in the Company at
the price of 177p per share, increasing his total interest to 82,100 shares.
