that the Company was advised today that on 23 March 2004, Dr J G S Buchanan, a
non-executive director of the Company, acquired, in the names of Dr Buchanan and
his wife, 100,000 ordinary shares of US$0.10 each in the capital of the Company
for which each share was valued at 126.75p.
