GRANT OF OPTIONS TO DIRECTORS UNDER SAVE AS YOU EARN SHARE OPTION SCHEME

The Company has today been informed that the following Directors of Bovis Homes
Group PLC were granted options over Ordinary Shares of 50p each in the Company
at an exercise price of £2.865 each, yesterday, 9 April 2003, as follows:

M R Harris           5,732

The options will become exercisable under the terms of the Save As You Earn
Share Option Scheme on 1 June 2008 for a period of six months.
