Appointment of Vice-Chairman

As detailed in the Company's interim results released earlier today, African Consolidated Resources plc, the AIM listed resource and development company focused in Southern Africa, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lloyd Munyaradzi Manokore as Vice-Chairman of the Company.

Mr Manokore is a businessman, registered lawyer in and a citizen and resident of Zimbabwe and has agreed to increase his role in the Company's activities from his current Non-Executive Directorship of ACR.

The Company would also like to draw attention to the management appointment of Eve Mkondo as Chief Financial Officer to ACR, as further detailed in the Company's interim results released earlier today.

These appointments have been made to strengthen ACR's management and presence in Zimbabwe where it has a significant asset base.
