Change of adviser

The Board of Directors of Utilico Emerging Markets Limited ("the Company") announces that Anthony Muh has today been appointed as a non executive Director of the Company.

Garth Milne has today resigned as a non-executive Director of the Company.

The Company also announces that it has appointed Westhouse Securities Limited as Nominated Adviser and Broker with immediate effect. Mr Milne is non-executive chairman of Westhouse Holdings plc, the parent company of Westhouse Securities Limited.

Anthony brings significant expertise as a longstanding investment professional and many years of experience in the Asia Pacific region. This background will be a valuable addition to the Utilico board

Mr Milne's experience and strategic insight have been of great value to the Company over recent years and the Board is delighted that Mr Milne has agreed to act as a consultant to the Company.

Further information on Anthony Muh:

Anthony, aged 47, is an investment professional with more than 25 years' experience in the investment management industry. He is an executive director and CEO of Morrison & Co's asset management businesses. He previously headed up the Asia Pacific operations of the UK's largest closed-end listed investment company, Alliance Trust PLC.

Anthony had also spent over 13 years with Citigroup as Head of investment/CIO of Asia inc Japan: he was a member of Citigroup Asset Management (CAM)'s Global Asset Management Committee and a member of Citigroup's Hong Kong country board.

Anthony is a current board member and a Fellow of the Hong Kong Securities Institute and a member of the Asia Advisory Board for Euromoney Institutional Investor Plc and is a member of the New Zealand Business Advisory Board to the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
