Director's interest in shares 

We have received notice that Alex Watson, Non-Executive Chairman of United
Overseas Group plc today purchased 200,000 Ordinary Shares of 10 pence each in
the Company.

The purchase price was 20.125 pence per share.

Mr Watson now holds 0.143% of the issued share capital of the Company.
