                      Unicorn AIM VCT plc (the 'Company')


The Company announces that pursuant to an authority to allot ordinary shares for
cash granted on 26 September 2001 it has today applied for 313 Ordinary Shares
(the 'Shares') to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority
and to trading on the London Stock Exchange plc. The Shares were allotted on 10
May 2002 to an IFA in lieu of commission, pursuant to the Offer for Subscription
of up to 35,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 1p each on 2 October 2001 ('The Offer').
The Shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares. The
Offer closed on 3 May 2002 having been fully subscribed.



Dealings in the Shares are expected to commence on 14 May 2002.
