Electra Private Equity PLC 20 December 2006 Electra Partners LLP 20 December 2006 Electra Partners LLP acquires Lil-lets Electra Partners LLP ('Electra Partners') the private equity specialist, is pleased to announce it has invested £27 million in the management buyout of Lil-lets from Accantia Group on behalf of its client Electra Private Equity PLC ('Electra'). Electra has invested alongside the management team led by Duccio Baldi. Lil-lets is a branded feminine hygiene consumer products business; a market leader in both the UK and South Africa. This transaction will allow management to focus solely on the Lil-lets brand with a view to developing its market position and customer base. Lil-lets provides Electra with an opportunity to invest in a business with strong long term prospects with an established brand in a mature market.
