Tristel plc ('Tristel'), the healthcare business which uses its proprietary
chlorine dioxide chemistry to create infection control products for hospitals
announces the following share purchases by directors:

On 15 June 2006 Peter Stephens (Non-Executive Director) acquired 10,000 shares
at 49 pence each, taking his total shareholding to 593,937 shares (2.5%).
