The Board of Travis Perkins plc ('Travis Perkins' or the 'Company') announces
that, in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act 1989, it
yesterday received notification that Royal & Sun Alliance Investments have a
notifiable interest in 4,397,500 ordinary shares of 10p each in the capital of
the Company, representing 3.93% of the issued share capital of the Company.
