Market Purchase of Company's Own Shares

Notification was given that pursuant to the authority granted at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 24 July 2012 to make market purchases of the Company's own Ordinary shares of 25p each, a market purchase of 175,000 Ordinary shares of 25p each in the capital of the Company was made on 15 April 2013 at an average price of 186.80 pence per share.

Following these purchases and cancellations there will be 317,700,980 Ordinary shares of 25p each in issue.

The capital of the Company with full voting rights is now 317,700,980. This figure may be used as the denominator for calculations of interests in the Company's voting rights.
