The 34,000 sq ft multi-let City office building was purchased by the Trust in June last year for £8.69 million including purchase costs, since when approximately £300,000 has been spent on refurbishment works. At the end of September the property was valued at £9.65 million. Following the sale the Trust's direct property holdings total 8.5% of the Trust's gross assets. Chris Turner, Fund Manager of TR Property, commented, 'We are delighted to have completed the sale of this property, which realises a significant profit on last year's purchase price and the September 2005 book value.
